Stepping into the boutique, the sleek silver and platinum tones reflect the futuristic vision of La Prairie. In the private consultation area, a thorough skin analysis is conducted, allowing clients to discuss their preferences with a specialist. I am then guided to the facial cabin, which envelopes me in calm as natural soundscapes fill the space.
The specialist begins with the soothing application of a warm bag of cherry pits from Switzerland—a thoughtful touch that connects to the brand’s Swiss heritage—placed gently on the stomach to warm and relax the body. A calming foot massage follows, before the specialist moves on to gently knead the knots along my neck and shoulders, releasing any built-up tension.
The treatment then progresses to the essential skincare ritual, the highlight of the experience. Throughout the 90-minute skincare ceremony, each step is expertly performed, beginning with a purifying cleanse and exfoliation. Precision massage techniques are used to stimulate circulation and promote lymphatic drainage, leaving the skin firmer and more lifted. This experience is so deeply relaxing that it delivers the same sense of satisfaction as a fulfilling body massage.
The facial is paired with La Prairie’s Platinum Rare Collection, renowned for combating visible effects of ageing thanks to its scientifically advanced formulation of Platinum Multi-Peptide.
