On an early Sunday morning in Subang Jaya, the sight of McLarens pulling into Pickleball Factory offered a hint of what was to come. Emerging from these super sports cars were members of the McLaren Owner’s Community Malaysia (MOCM), dressed in their athletic gear and ready to hit the courts. They were welcomed by the sight of the newly released McLaren Artura Spider, a hybrid convertible next-generation supercar, with upgraded powertrain and chassis systems to deliver more power and dynamic performance.
Inside of Pickleball Factory, the MOCM members received a welcome gift of a Malin+Goetz tote bag with body moisturisers and detox face masks to sample. They also signed up with partner JNE Tour & Travel who chipped in on the prizes with a two-night stay at Amanjiwo as well as a stay in the Patricia Urquiola-designed Mandarin Oriental Barcelona.

Following a quick course for the beginners, the action would soon commence with women’s doubles and men’s doubles hotly contested. Along the way, the participants in this MOCM Pickleball Challenge could refresh with Acqua Panna still and San Pellegrino sparkling water courtesy of Asiaeuro as well as the Sanpellegrino Aranciata, a sparkling orange made from 100 per cent natural ingredients.
Among the prizes up for grabs were Malin+Goetz bath products and its scented candles, as well as Pickleball Factory-branded pickleball sets, a OnePlus 12 5G equipped with a 4th generation Hasselblad Camera System as well as the hotel stays.

In between of sets, the participants also tucked into the café fare from the adjoining café Kaiizzo which included their signature flame-grilled chicken and a Kyoto unagi delight pizza. There were plenty of cheers with the announcement of the winners and plenty more for the lucky draw segment, especially with Pickleball Factory co-owner Venice Min joining in on the prize-giving festivities.
