With both the 750S and Artura made available for testing, clients of AutoDetailer Studio were able to immerse themselves in the finer points of McLaren.

On a recent Saturday morning, clients and friends of AutoDetailer Studio (ADS) gathered for one of their regular morning drives. As a restoration and customisation specialist, the fleet that turned up was an eclectic and colourful bunch of high-performance cars. The first stop of the morning, however, was about two particular cars—the opportunity to test-drive two of McLaren’s current offerings. The first is the purist performer 750S and its twin-turbo V8, lauded for its blend of precise tactility and everyday usability. The second was the versatile but uncompromising Artura hybrid that heralds great things for the electrified supercar generation.

At McLaren’s sales and service centre in Glenmarie, Shah Alam, guests were treated to a breakfast and coffee. Mood music came courtesy of Bowers & Wilkins, McLaren’s longtime collaborator both inside and outside the car. The Zeppelin McLaren Edition smart speaker and the Pi8 McLaren Edition earbuds were both available to sample, which are class-leading in sound and have the sophisticated looks to match—dressed up in dark grey, with papaya orange highlights that are the definitive indication of McLaren. Guests could also pick up a complimentary cap by iconic brand New Era, which has been one of McLaren’s official partners since 2015. Refreshments included flavoured tonic waters from The London Essence Co, while a lucky draw at the end meant that two guests were able to come away with new cordless vacuum cleaners from Dyson.
