On a balmy Thursday afternoon, the show gallery of Aetas Seputeh by developer Avaland hummed to life with the arrival of more than 80 emerging entrepreneurs. These guests were recognised as part of the incoming line of entrepreneurs and were present to attend a programme by Trailblazers 2.0, the incubator by the Entrepreneurs Organisation to groom the next generation of entrepreneurship.
At this Masterclass Chronicles: Entrepreneurs Unplugged session, the participating entrepreneurs could avail themselves to the learned wisdom of luminaries such as George Gan of Clapper Tech, Patrick Corso of Time Dotcom, Massimo Migliuolo, who possesses a vast CEO experience within the tech sector, and interior designer turned serial entrepreneur and developer Dato’ Tan Sucheng.

Following a round of talks, in which the participants followed the journey of sales, cashflow, the pitfalls of failing businesses, and creating valuable businesses for attracting equity, guests enjoyed libations of The Botanist Gin & Tonic as well as Laddie Highballs, the latter composed of Bruichladdich Islay single-malt as its base spirit.
There was also time, too, by Avaland’s senior development director Yaw Sheng Fung to share highlights of the GreenRE Platinum-certified Aetas Seputeh project. Crafted for discerning homeowners, the residences span more than 3,531 sq ft, featuring private lift access, dual balconies, customisable spaces, and unobstructed city views. Premium fittings, natural cross-ventilation, and thoughtful spatial flow are also included in each home. Aetas Seputeh residents can expect refined amenities such as a 30°C heated salt-chlorinated infinity pool, a naturally ventilated gym, cigar pavilion, and private event lounges.

In time, the participants would welcome George Gan, a legend of the Entrepreneurs Organisation, who held the room in rapt attention with his concise lessons in business, where clarity of purpose eliminates time-wasting meetings, while a relentless drive to ‘trailblaze’ means making sacrifices for the greater good.

Soon after, Tan Hui Choon would then close the day with an up-tempo session of besting your biggest fears, finding inner peace, and always working towards the greater good. And to the strains of Isn’t She Lovely by Stevie Wonder, the crowd would end the day on a high note, continuing their networking over a cocktail dinner of X.O fried rice with duck confit, tiger prawn capellini, passion fruit perch, eggplant moussaka, and a live station of chicken roulade.
