Design goes beyond what pleases the eye. It functions as a cultural barometer, translating what society values, questions, and hopes for. To drive today’s creative culture forward, the Reka Design Week (RDW) 2025 will explore new intersections of art and design at its upcoming finale showcase in Pavilion Damansara Heights, from 6 to 9 November 2025. Addressing the growing effects of fast consumerism, this year’s RDW champions a renewed sense of purpose—to reawaken the dialogue between maker, designer, and user, while restoring appreciation for the artistry embedded in every object.

An initiative by the Malaysian Institute of Interior Designers (MIID), the annual design showcase was originally envisioned as a meeting ground for interior design professionals to connect and exchange ideas. Over the years, it has since evolved into a melting pot of creative disciplines spanning art, craft, graphics, and culture, bringing greater depth and diversity to Malaysia’s landscape.
For four enriching days, the Pavilion Arena (Levels 4 and 5) will serve as a creative epicentre for a curated exhibition unlike any other, featuring design objects, art pieces, furniture, as well as interior and architectural furnishings. From biomaterial concepts to contemporary handwork, design talks, and interactive workshops, the 2025 edition introduces dynamic crossovers between artists, designers, and industry partners, promising an experience rich in creativity and collaboration.

This year’s showcase is supported by Topmix, Dulux, Global Titanium Coating, Mofi Modular Fixtures, Home Master, Perodua, and PaperKite; with Carfé and Rauh-Welt Begriff as art car partners; Outlet as art partner; and Robb Report Malaysia as the official media partner.
