Of organic vines
Each year, Coche-Dury’s Corton-Charlemagne is among the most expensive and coveted white wines in the world, with Domaine de la Romanee-Conti’s Montrachet Grand Cru often coming in a close second. Derived from low-yielding vines in the Grand Cru vineyard of Burgundy’s Corton-Charlemagne and crafted by the celebrated winemaker Jean-Francois Coche, this mesmerising Chardonnay is redolent of white peach, apple, hazelnut, acacia flowers and limestone.
