Tirtha Weddings unveils The Glass House in Bali, a masterpiece for marriages

partners in paradise

The word ‘tirtha’ in Sanskrit refers to a place that is holy. Specifically, a journey to a holy site. Encapsulating that, Tirtha Weddings makes the pilgrimage towards wedded bliss spectacular and stress-free. The Singapore-based destination wedding specialist recently unveiled a new addition to its portfolio of amazing venues, in an appropriately holy location – Bali.

The Glass House by Tirtha is a sprawling property in Uluwatu, an unassailably beautiful part of the Island of the Gods. Designed by Alessandro Landi of Landi Design and Fredo Taffin (Ku De Ta Bali), the name dreams up images of lush greenery and ethereal splendour. Which is correct. Cossetted by soaring coconut palms, the main guesthouse and annexe have floor-to-ceiling glass walls, flooding the indoor spaces with natural light. Landscaping is a particular highlight, created by Singapore’s Salad Dressing based on the work of Made Wijaya, Bali’s famous landscape architect. The property’s multiple space are versatile enough to accommodate any wedding format, while the lawn and pool are inviting for more casual celebration.

For the big night, The Glass House goes all out. The garden lawn can be festooned with a constellation of twinkling fairy lights for an evening to remember. Or fresh blooms and impossibly green leavea can lend a more tropical feel in the greenhouse. The spaces comfortably seat 100 people, rising up to 170 when combined with other areas.

Accommodation (optional) comes in the form of three guesthouses for up to six guests, with a private chef and butler included.

For bookings through July 2017, The Glass House is offering its Dazzling Amber Package. Pricing begins at US$4,200 (RM18,475) and includes:
