Synonymous with inventive and original cuisine, Nobu Kuala Lumpur is celebrating Mid-Autumn Festival by releasing an assortment of uniquely flavoured Nobu Style Mooncakes.
Recognised for their creative blend of flavour profiles, the inspiration behind this year’s celestial mooncakes comes from familiar and essential ingredients the team at Nobu Kuala Lumpur are accustomed to using; incorporating delectable Japanese flavours into the mooncakes. Among this year’s distinct fillings include Miso (fermented soybean paste) yolk, Green Tea, Shiso (Japanese mint leaf) and Black Goma, within a traditional mooncake or Mochi skin.
The Nobu Style Mooncakes are presented within a luxurious, reusable lacquered box with gold finishings, adorned with commemorative motifs of traditional Koi Carps. A symbol of luck, prosperity, and good fortune, the Koi Carp is also an ideal illustration for the Nobu Style Mooncakes, having rich symbolism in both Chinese and Japanese culture.
The Nobu Style Mooncakes will be sold in two packages. Guests who purchase 5–9 boxes will be able to get a discount of 10% whereas purchases of 10 boxes and above will enjoy a discount of 15%. Package A will sell at RM148, with one each of Baked Charcoal Bamboo mooncake with Black Goma paste, Baked mooncake with Green Tea paste, Baked mooncake with Azuki bean paste, Baked mooncake with Fruits and Nuts, Mochi skin with Shiso and lotus paste and Mochi skin with Miso yolk and pandan paste
