To commemorate the auspicious Year of the Dog, Pak Loh Chiu Chow at Feast Village Starhill Gallery has lined up an array of sumptuous oriental specialities to elevate your Chinese New Year dining experience. It is never too early to usher in prosperity, good health and happiness with a celebratory lunch or dinner that will be available from 1 February until 2 March 2018.
Executive Chinese Chef Alex Au and team have deftly amalgamated authentic flavours and ingredients resulting in a decadent menu featuring fine Teochew-style (Chiu Chow) cuisine this festive season. The Yee Sang variety ranges from salmon to classic Chiu Chow and a vegetarian option is also available. The a la carte menu is made up of delights such as Braised Sea Abalone with Broccoli, Stir-fried Mixed Waxed Meat Rice with Pumpkin, Braised Pig’s Trotter with Black Moss and Vegetables and Stir-fried Squid with XO Sauce accompanied by Baked Spare Ribs.
For reunion dinners and lunches with family and friends, Pak Loh has specially prepared two set menus this year – Four Seasons Fortune and Golden Jade Prosperity. Excite the palate with creations such as Double-boiled Top Shell Soup with Cordyceps Flower, Steamed Dragon Tiger Spot with Bean Curd and Black Fungus, Baked Prawns with Salad Sauce, Braised South African Abalone with Brown Stock, Classic Steamed Red Snapper with Bean Sauce, Braised Fish Maw with Baby Chinese Cabbage, Chinese Glutinous Cake in Two Styles and Double-boiled Lotus Seeds and Lily Bulbs with Black Glutinous Rice. The set menus are available for four, six and 10 persons starting from RM99.50 nett per person. An option to include additional persons is available.
