time to go online
The Geophysic is an old name for Jaeger-LeCoultre. The original was created in 1958, and the modern Geophysic line has been around since 2014. Of those, Geophysic True Second is one of those evergreen, modern-but-classic watch styles that features the seldom-seen deadbeat seconds complication.
At the end of 2017, Jaeger-LeCoultre released a special limited edition of the Geophysic True Second. It is not radically changed from the standard model — still the same self-winding Calibre 770 (with a quickset jumping hour and aforementioned deadbeat seconds), and the same stainless steel 40mm case. The difference in dial is immediately apparent, though; the limited edition sports one in a brilliant blue, with a brushed sunburst finish, as well as a white crosshair design that pays homage to the 1958 model. There is another, more intangible property of this version, however: it is only available through the Jaeger-LeCoultre online boutique.
The Jaeger-LeCoultre Geophysic True Second Limited Edition is priced at US$9900 (RM38,800) and limited to 100 pieces.
