Prepare for takeoff
Cathay Pacific Airlines recently welcomed the newest member to its fleet with the arrival of the first of its 20 Airbus A350-1000 aircraft. The long-distance airliner uses a blend of biofuel, which is a seamless fit with the airline’s initiatives to reduce the impact of greenhouse gas emissions.
Passenger comfort was at the forefront of the aircraft’s new cabin design, which now features a brand-new Economy Class seat. It boasts a larger, higher-definition personal television and an advanced in-flight entertainment system and LED mood lighting.
Those flying in this innovative aircraft – powered by Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-97 engines – can expect a spacious and quiet atmosphere, wider seats and elegant ambient lighting, all of which will have a dual role in contributing to a beautiful interior while also minimising the effects of jet lag.
