The Michelin-starred Culinary Director of the Landmark Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong, Chef Richard Ekkebus, has recently announced another Four Hands Dinners collaboration, this time with Danish chef, Bo Bech of Geist (Copenhagen). The Four Hands Dinners have featured the who’s who of culinary masters including Chilean chef Rodolfo Guzman, Singapore’s Andre Chiang, Spanish master Ferran Adria, Australian chef Dan Hunter, Japanese maestro Kenichiro Yamauchi, Mingoo Kang from Korea and Italian chef Luca Fantin.
Chef Bech is an award-winning trailblazer, cookbook author, traveller, photographer and one-time TV host. At this exclusive two-night only collaborative 10-course dinner (HKD2,888 per person), the two chiefs will join forces to create a menu in the style of Bech’s signature dishes such as raw langoustines with yuzu and hibiscus, and scallops with chicken wings and langoustine sauce.
An 8-glass wine pairing tasting menu (HKD1,588 per person) is also available, with cocktails and wines chosen to match each course by head sommelier John Chan. As a memento, the dinner also includes a signed copy of IN MY BLOOD, a book written by Chef Bech.
