Presenting the Bugatti Chiron Capsule Collection

New Bugatti cars always spark a lightning storm of attention. And so it was with the Bugatti Chiron, which debuted last month at the 86th Geneva International Motor Show. The car is named after the Louis Chiron, the legendary racing drive that swept the major grand prix races for the brand in the 1920 and 1930s. And, as Bugatti is wont to do, the Chiron was accompanied by its own clothing collection – the Bugatti Chiron Capsule collection.

Inspired by the styling lines of the Chiron, and evoking the carmaker’s flourishes, touches and motifs in design, the capsule collection is comprised of twelve pieces with accompanying eyewear to stylishly suit the 1,500hp super sports car. The highlight of the collection is the driver’s jacket, made from calf leather with stitching depicting the Chiron’s seats in the iconic blue duotone. The four T-shirts in the collection bear the Bugatti Chiron print on the chest, while the rest of the collection epitomises the attention to detail that Bugatti has spent decades perfecting.

The Ettore Bugatti Chiron Capsule Collection is made entirely in Italy and is a limited edition of 431. The significance of that number? It is the land speed record – 431 km/h – that the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport holds to this day.
