Limited to just 257 sets—of which Malaysia will only see four—the Omega Seamaster 300M James Bond Limited Edition Set (RM167,000) consists of not one, but two watches: one in stainless steel and one in yellow gold. They also have no date window, distinguishing them from the regular Seamaster 300M and even the 7,007-piece James Bond limited edition released late last year. The pair also sport spiral-brushed PVD-coated black ceramic dials, laser engraved with gun barrel design that recalls an iconic image from the films. They come on rubber straps, and each have a numbered white gold case plate and a black ceramic bezel. On the gold model, the diving scale is printed with Omega’s patented Ceragold material. The Bond family coat-of-arms makes an appearance as the 12 o’clock marker, and is also emblazoned on both casebacks.
The set is presented in a super-spy worthy suitcase by British luxury luggage experts Globe-Trotter. Inside, one will also find extra accessories such as watch cases, a stainless-steel bracelet and a pair of NATO straps. There is a loupe as well, decorated to look like a Seamaster bezel—a nice touch with which to admire this highly collectible kit.
While the Bond film No Time To Die has been pushed back to a year-end release, you really needn’t wait that long to get your hands on this limited edition set.
