Gavin Green, one of Asia’s most promising golfers, joins Hugo Boss as an ambassador, fortifying the German fashion house’s growing score of top professional golfers. The Malaysian Olympic golfer is halfway through his sophomore season on the European Tour and has amassed three top-10 and six top-20 finishes, including a fifth place at the Belgian Knockout.
Green became the first Malaysians to take on the Asian Tour Order of Merit title in 2017 shortly after turning professional two years prior. He also earned his maiden Asian Tour victory at the 2017 Mercuries Taiwan Masters, adding three second place finishes in his run to the season-long Order of Merit crown. The talented golfer has also secured the distinction of being the highest ranked Malaysian, according to the Official World Golf Rankings.
Some of Green’s additional career highlights include – finishing third in the Saudi International 2020, reaching a top 20 position six times on the European Tour 2018, and representing Malaysia in the 2016 Olympics and the 2018 World Cup of Golf.
Hugo Boss has actively supported golfers since 1985 with its growing line of athleisure wear, as Green joins other top golfers the likes of two-time major winner Martin Kaymer, Belgian World Cup of Golf winner Thomas Detry, and one of the youngest golfers sponsored by the brand, Sean Crocker.
