Chef Fei in residence at Lai Po Heen, Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur

Hailing from Mandarin Oriental, Guangzhou, multi award-winning Chef Fei will be in residence at Lai Po Heen, Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur from 17 to 23 July 2017 to showcase his signature dishes.

Originally from Chaozhou in Guangdong province, Chef Fei began his career at the age of 16 where he honed his skill in Chinese specialty restaurants and mastered all aspects of Cantonese cuisine. With an impeccable eye for detail, Chef Fei is no stranger to the fine dining scene in Guangdong, where his innovative creations combining intricate taste experiences with artful presentation have won him numerous awards and a loyal following of food connoisseurs and celebrities alike.

Chef Fei will be presenting two tasting menu options for lunch (six courses) and dinner (seven courses). These will focus on the delicate dishes that have become his signatures, including roast Wenchang chicken with flaxseed, roast beef rib on hot stone, fine noodles in lobster soup and stir-fried crayfish in homemade garlic sauce. Some a la carte selections can be added on to complement lunch, while creative expressions of Chef Fei’s dim sum will also be available.
