Explore Colombo, the country’s capital on day one and learn about the country’s rich history during the Portuegese, Dutch and British era. The next day, you’ll head to Sigiriya where you’ll climb the rock fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that was selected by King Kasyapa for his new capital. You’ll also explore the Royal Botanic Gardens, home to over 4,000 species of plants, including those with medicinal value.

On day four, enjoy a scenic train journey to Kandy, where you’ll be awed by lush greenery just outside the window. You’ll pass through forests, hills, valleys, waterfalls, and Sri Lanka’s famous tea plantations. The journey ends at The Elephant Stables, a luxury boutique with a colonial feel.
