Chef Walter Ishizuka, a student and friend of venerated master Paul Bocuse, arrives in Malaysia for the first time to share his Japanese-French culinary heritage at PRIME, Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur. A native of Lyon, France, Chef Ishizuka has said he considers Bocuse the Pope of French cuisine.
Following the untimely passing of his mentor and friend, the young chef then moved to Paris where he further honed his craft under Executive Chef Michael Roth at 2-starred L’Espadon, Hotel Ritz Paris. With menus blending classic French fare with a delicate approach to flavour and texture derived from his Japanese heritage, Chef Ishizuka’s dishes feature bold, simple flavours cooked using only the very finest ingredients.
From 21 to 25 November, discover his unique cuisine as he presents his signature dishes at the award-winning PRIME. Located on level 5, this dinner only, seven course experience is priced at RM500 nett per person, and RM650 nett per person with a wine pairing.
