Mandarin Oriental Bangkok introduces Discover Bangkok Creative District

Bangkok can be hard to navigate. Too many alleys, too little access, and oftentimes just too chaotic and hot when we try. The city sprawls in all direction with little to guide, except a river and, of course, a local guide. And Mandarin Oriental Bangkok is offering both.

The riverside hotel offers two new packages to help guests explore the city — and particularly its artistic neighbourhood, Charoenkrung — in the best way possible: Through luxurious stays and guided tours.

Charoenkrung, which the hotel resides upon, has only until last year been officially revamped as the Creative District of Bangkok, inaugurated by the relocation of the Thailand Creative & Design Center to the neighbourhood. Since then, the area has transformed into a gutsy gastronomic and artistic enclave, with art galleries and restaurants sprouting faster than we can report on.

From THB14,850, you get the Bangkok Riverside Summer Explorer package, which includes accommodation, THB3,000 credit to be used in the hotel’s restaurants and spa, 24-hour personal butler service, and a concierge service for a customised itinerary.

The Discover Bangkok Creative District package (from THB 19,975 per night, minimum two nights) includes, on top of abovementioned, a private two-hour walking tour of the Creative District, afternoon tea, a history tour, and daily breakfast buffet.
