From 31 August to 2 September 2017, the St Regis Kuala Lumpur welcomes Chef Alfredo Russo of Dolce Stil Novo in Italy for an exclusive dining experience. Chef Russo is set to create a sensory experience as he presents his interpretation of modern Italian fine dining – creative, elegant and exquisitely balanced in flavours at the hotel’s fine dining establishment The Brasserie.
Famed for his innovative culinary style, Chef Russo will feature his signature dessert – oyster ice cream – as part of the four-course lunch and six-course dessert menus. The four-course lunch is priced at RM338 nett or RM438 nett with wine pairing (available 1-2 September). The six-course dinner is priced at RM438 nett or RM588 nett with wine pairing (available 31 August-2 September).
Born in Turin, Chef Russo found his passion for cooking at a tender age of 13 years, helping out in local restaurants. Having completed his studies and apprenticeships at various Michelin-starred establishments in Piedmont, Chef Russo opened Dolce Stil Novo at the remarkable age of 22. Three years later, he earned his first Michelin star and in 2004, Italy’s L’Espresso named him ‘Italy’s best young chef.’ Showered with accolades since, Dolce Stil Novo is housed within the Palace of Venaria, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
