In the heart of South Kensington, where Queen’s Gate meets the Old Brompton Road, sit four traditional Victorian townhouses that make up The Kensington London. Feeling more like a beautiful private residence than a traditional hotel, the establishment is set to celebrate the opening of ‘Christian Dior – Designer of Dreams’ exhibition at the nearby Victoria & Albert Museum.
As a three-night package, guests will stay in one of the hotel’s sumptuous Signature Suites, receive two tickets to the exhibition and a round of bespoke ‘The Corolle’ cocktails. This exclusive cocktail has been specially created by the hotel’s K Bar, inspired by Dior’s first collection in 1947 named ‘La Ligne Corolle’, an elevated twist on the classic ‘French 75’, served in a cut crystal glass flute.
The exhibition itself traces the history of Dior from his first collection to present day. It will also explore his relationship with Britain, a place he was particularly fond of and inspired by.
The Kensington package starts from £1,800, and is available for stays between 2nd February – 30th June 2019. For more please visit The House Of Kensington Experience.
