On a late Saturday morning, the roar of the powerful Maserati Nettuno 3.0L twin-turbo V6 engine signalled the arrival of the MC20, the first super sports car of the Trident marque. Soon enough, the MC20 was joined by its other brethren, from the Grecale and Levante SUVs to the Ghibli and Quattroporte luxury sedans. This automotive gathering heralded the start of the Maserati Owners’ Club Malaysia’s (MOCM) annual dinner, one that united passionate Maserati owners in a day of camaraderie and celebration.

Making their way up to Resorts World Genting, the convoy detoured to the nearby Base @ Genting for a photo opportunity and to soak in the sweeping highland views. From here, the convoy continued their journey, eliciting excitement from onlookers, towards Genting Grand hotel, where the evening’s festivities would soon begin.

As the sun sank into the hills, the MOCM members, their partners, and invited guests consisting of friends from the supercar fraternity, trooped into the opulently bedecked Genting Rouge. In here, they were regaled by scintillating timepieces from Sincere Fine Watches, including bedazzling stunners from Breitling, Franck Muller, and Jacob & Co..

In his welcome speech, and to raucous applause and cheers, MOCM’s newly anointed president, Teddy Lee, remarked on the significance of the event. “We were elated by the level of the response, as well as the support of partners,” he said. “As the president and together with the committee, we look forward to the continued expansion of the club, with more events and engagement between MOCM and the authorised dealers in the future.”

Following this, the annual dinner 2025 event organising chairman, Henry Low, shared: “It was also an honour to have the presence of representatives from other supercar clubs gracing this annual dinner, with a total of 42 cars in the convoy up to Resorts World Genting for this celebration.”
The evening then took off with a model showcase of timepieces, a live band performance, and a slew of lucky draws and partner presentations, as well as impromptu singing performances by talented members in attendance, adding to the indelible memories of a great night.
