Experiencing Hennessy’s Generations of craftsmanship

For the second year running, Hennessy Declassified brought its vineyards and cellars from the Cognac region of France to life at Menara Ken TTDI. The week-long extravaganza from 26 November to 1 December 2018 was an unforgettable experience with eight interactive zones that led to a futuristic lounge bar, serving as a platform for connoisseurs to experience Hennessy’s eight generations of craftsmanship – and be acquainted with the entire cognac-making process from grapes to glass.

Star mixologist David Kit Dave of Nutmeg & Clove in Singapore (recently voted Asia’s 50 Best Bars) fused childhood favourites pop rock candies with Hennessy V.S.O.P. to create the Popping Grenade –  embodying the fun and creative spirit behind Hennessy’s art of mixing. The savoury Shrooms designed by Andrew Tan, mixologist and co-owner of HYDE, infused the eaux-de-vie with Japanese shiitake mushrooms, truffle oil, and maple syrup, while Jamie Rhind of Bangkok’s Bamboo Bar served up special concoctions called Chinatown and Birds, Bees and the Trees.
