EQ Kuala Lumpur

For Father’s Day, EQ invites families to unwind across its versatile dining offerings with one of these special packages available only on Sunday 21 June. Sabayon offers grand 51st-storey views to go with its Sunday Sky Brunch, serving up delicacies such as Angus tartare and tiger prawns, for RM208+ per adult and RM98+ per child. Fathers will receive a special gift as well!

On the ground floor, Nipah provides a more relaxed but livelier Father’s Day buffet experience, highlighted by the likes of beef Wellington and seafood on ice (RM168+ per adult, RM84+ per child).

Lovers of fine Japanese cuisine can instead head to Kampachi, where the Father’s Day menu (RM148+ per adult, RM74+ per child) includes Lobster Tail Kagoneyaki, Wagyu Hamburg, and Hotate Carpaccio alongside air-flown seafood and free-flow sashimi.

After one of these occasions, EQ invites you to the Sanctum Spa, where the Father’s Day spa experience will melt worries away with a 30-minute chocolate body scrub followed by a 90-minute treatment of choice. Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur

This Father’s Day, the hotel is offering a range of sumptuous dining experiences across its signature restaurants. Highlights include a three-course Josper-grilled feast at Mandarin Grill (RM268 nett per person) featuring unlimited servings of premium meats and seafood, The Ultimate Dad Feast seafood buffet at Mosaic, available exclusively on 20 and 21 June at RM245 nett per person, serves an exclusive surf-and-turf plate.

Families can also enjoy shared grilled lobster platters and specially curated Cantonese set menus at Lai Po Heen, showcasing luxury ingredients such as abalone, grouper and Peking duck.

For a more casual celebration, Aqua Restaurant & Bar is serving an indulgent BBQ Short Rib Burger by the pool.

The RuMa Hotel and Residences, Kuala Lumpur

The hotel offers a trio of curated experiences tailored to every kind of dad. Creative-minded fathers can enjoy the Chapters of Craft Afternoon Tea at The LIBRARI (available daily, with seatings from 1.30pm to 3.30pm, and 3.30pm to 5.30pm, from RM168+ per person), featuring handcrafted pastries, savouries and interactive craft sessions in collaboration with LLADRÓ.

The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur

There’s a regal, old-world vibe to The Majestic, which may make it a memorable way to spend Father’s Day. For the weekend of 20-21 June, its two principal restaurants are offering up their curated specialties for both lunch and dinner. Contango provides an open kitchen and an international spread, from pizza to churrasco grill to Chinese, Japanese, Malay, and Thai. Over at The Smoke House lounge and bar, on 21 June, it is hosting the Father’s Day Celebration Game of Pool Challenge—the winner of this eight-ball challenge will receive a tasting flight of Kinahan’s Irish whiskey and a cigar!

For a Father’s Day celebration with an Italian-American twist, the hotel’s signature restaurant, Sabato’s, is hosting Festa della Papà on 20 and 21 June. The 1,036bhp Ferrari 849 Testarossa Is Officially Unveiled In Malaysia

The Ferrari 849 Testarossa has formally arrived in Malaysia via a showcase at the marque’s showroom at Four Seasons Place. A rocketship of a berlinetta, it stands as one of Maranello’s most aggressively performing road cars that it currently offers. Outfitted with a mid-rear 4.0-litre V8 mated to a trio of electric motors, its maximum power output is a blistering 1,036bhp, good enough for 0-100km/h in under 2.3 seconds and 0-200km/h in 6.35 seconds. The latest in a long line of iconic cars bearing the Testarossa name, it also sports some of Ferrari’s most advanced electronic controls. It is priced at around RM5.2 million after taxes and before options.

Patek Philippe And Cortina Watch Inaugurate The Largest Of Its Boutiques In The Region At The Starhill

The new Patek Philippe boutique, a partnership with Cortina Watch, has opened at The Starhill as the largest of the Swiss manufacturer’s retail spaces in Southeast Asia. Aside from a gallery of current products and a historical display wall, the 312sqm store has numerous private rooms and spaces, including a bar and dining room, that will allow clients to discover timepieces in relaxed, elegant comfort. Some of the unique qualities found at this boutique are a large wood-sculpted artwork depicting Mount Kinabalu, and a ceremonial safe to lend an extra sense of occasion to customers receiving a watch. The external 12.6m facade cements it as a Bukit Bintang landmark.

EQ Kuala Lumpur Launches A New Menu Concept

At the hotel’s iconic Sabayon restaurant, Chef de Cuisine Steve Ariffin introduces a unique dinner menu. While its classical European cooking remains, diners now have the option of selecting between a traditional menu consisting of a standard starter, main, and dessert, or create their own combination, whether that includes multiple mains or an all-dessert menu. Pricing starts at RM358+ for a three-course menu, RM558+ for a five-course menu, and RM758+ for a seven-course menu. To enjoy the experience as intended by Chef Ariffin, Sabayon also offers La Dégustation, a six-course menu priced at RM788+, with wine pairings for an additional RM348+.

Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra To Present Yin & Yang: A Dance Kaleidoscope

Exciting concerts by the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra await music lovers at Dewan Filharmonik Petronas (DFP) in the third quarter of 2026. This includes a contemporary dance showcase, Yin & Yang: A Dance Kaleidoscope, which will be held on 5 September 2026 at 8pm as part of the DFP’s efforts to provide a platform for cultural preservation.  ASK Dance Company and Dua Space Dance Theatre will present a powerful double bill that reflects their transformative spirit. The performance will be presented in two parts: Hang Li Po will reimagine the tale of a legendary Chinese princess, while Passage Into The Unknown: Earth, Water, Fire, Wind is a poetic meditation on our connection to the natural world.
