With its off-centre dial and tourbillion sitting within a smaller seconds ring at nine o’clock, Armin Strom’s Tourbillon Royal Flush looks like any other great timepiece from the great Swiss independent brand. However, look closer and one will see a unique detail through the open dial – the movement is beautifully engraved with the four suits of poker cards. Turn the timepiece and a hand-engraved royal flush can be admired through the transparent sapphire case back.

This one-off timepiece was created in 2014 for an exclusive event held in Las Vegas by Eadness Luxury Group, a private club based in Switzerland that curates bespoke experiences for its members. The poker card influence in the engraving is a perfect representation of sin city and a showcase of what is possible with Armin Strom’s expertise.
The brand is offering one Robb Report reader a chance to customise the ATC11 calibre, which drives the Tourbillon Royal Flush with double spring barrels that offer a 10-day power reserve. The sky is the limit – you may request something as simple as your initials or as complicated as the scenic view of your favourite vacation spot.
