For the very first time, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia brought together the ‘Dream Cars Collection’ for the ‘Luxury Like No Other’ showcase that took place from 3 to 7 April 2024 at NZ Wheels Bangsar. Car enthusiasts got to witness their exquisite craftsmanship, sophistication, comfort and ultimate driving experience via the test drive sessions. In between, guests enjoyed whisky and cocktails at the Chivas Regal bar and, on the upper level, the Royal Salute bar, while enjoying the company of the five Dream Cars.
Mercedes-AMG GT 63 E PERFORMANCE F1 Edition
This special edition model has close ties to Formula 1. The technology transfer makes this Affalterbach model the most powerful production car yet, with an electric motor and AMG High Performance battery on the rear axle. This F1 Edition beauty distinguishes itself from the others with its unique paintwork—a non-metallic MANUFAKTUR alpine grey, the only colour available. The colour goes from grey to black at the sides, with red colour accents running through the lining. Bragging rights aside, this edition is perfect for those who enjoy speed on the open road, taking you from A to B in no time.
Mercedes-AMG S 63 E PERFORMANCE
This recently launched model is the most powerful S-Class to date, combining a balance of comfort and dynamism—one of the vehicle’s main highlights. It combines the AMG 4.0 litre V8 biturbo engine with an AMG Performance hybrid powertrain with Formula 1 technology transfer to obtain that power. Some of the model’s key highlights include Digital Light, Adaptive High Beam Assist Plus, panoramic sliding sunroof, and black Nappa leather seats. This model is perfect if you frequently travel from state to state, and its soft, body-hugging seats will keep you comfortable for long hours.
Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 4MATIC
This new model combines the strengths of the GLS with the highly attractive exclusivity of Maybach, setting an altogether luxurious tone and exterior appeal. It’s built with a specific radiator grille featuring vertical chrome struts and Maybach lettering, as well as air inlet grilles at the front apron with small Maybach patterns, distinguishing itself from the other models. Its cabin is designed like a cocoon for extra cosiness, allowing passengers to fully relax on a long journey. This Maybach also comes with a fridge at the back to chill champagne bottles—perfect for a casual business meeting, a romantic evening or even a cross-country vacation with your buddies.
Mercedes-Benz GLS 450 4M
The GLS 450 4Matic is also dubbed the ‘S-Class among SUVs’, with advanced telematics and new drive systems. The exterior is built with a striking radiator grille, and the four louvres are galvanised in high-quality Silver Shadow. Its interior is equipped with a multifunction sports steering wheel in Nappa leather, and its dashboard and door beltlines are made with ARTICO man-made leather. Also, the multi-contour front seats’ hot stone massage effect and seat heating serve as the highlight. Each seat is equipped with a personal screen, which helps keep the little ones behaved during a big family vacation.
Mercedes-CLE 300 4M Coupé
This new CLE Coupé is designed with a sporty exterior with two doors and powerful wheel arches. Some new design features include a progressively forward-leaning front section with a low-slung bonnet, flat Digital Light with projection function headlights, and a distinctive radiator grille for a more elegant appearance. The cockpit comes equipped with a striking 12.3in fully digital instrument display, an 11.9in central display, and seats covered in ARTICO man-made leather. It’s designed for the ultra-affluent single men, who enjoy luxurious date nights and in-car entertainment.
The ‘Luxury Like No Other’ showcase was a resounding success, as Mercedes-Benz Malaysia welcomed plenty of guests and potential customers to their five-day viewing, while shinning the spotlight on all five models from the ‘Dream Cars Collection’.
