Lush Greenery
There’s always something alluring about jewellery with green stones and Chopard knows it. In creating the latest pieces for the Happy Hearts and For You collections, the Geneva-based manufacture made a beeline for emerald, the king of green stones, and malachite, the positive-energy green stone.
Happy Hearts is a new line for Chopard, even though the heart is a motif that’s always been very dear to the manufacture, featured generously within the Happy Diamonds series. Now as a standalone collection, it is where diamond and malachite hearts and Chopard’s signature moving diamonds commingle. Aesthetes will especially appreciate the contrast between the linear striations on the malachite and the round form of the brilliant-cut diamonds.
The pieces are crafted in 18k rose gold and include a bangle bracelet, a pair of earrings, a sautoir necklace, and a spherical ring featuring a mix of malachite hearts, diamond-paved hearts and moving diamonds within hearts.
The Chopard For You collection, on the other hand, is distinguished by a discreet and delicate style. Chopard’s jewellers crafted the pieces with a light touch, letting the emerald do all the talking.
White gold forms the core of the line and delicate pear-shaped diamonds or emeralds take centre stage.
Pieces include stud or cluster earrings, single or You and Me rings, and a jewellery watch that’s set with pear-shaped and brilliant-cut diamonds and emeralds.
In time, the maison will enrich the collection with other coloured stones, presenting the Chopard For You collection in a range of different styles.
