The trendy Kuala Lumpur precinct of Bukit Bintang translates to Hill of Stars. On the stretch of boutique storefronts that line the road-facing luxury wing of Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, one glittering new star has recently been added – the Cartier boutique. An elegant interpretation of a Champs-Élysées flagship inside and outside, the duplex announces its presence with intent – a three-storey LED façade shimmers in the day and glimmers in the night.
Inside, the boutique carries a stately air. Delicate crystal chandeliers and precious hand-made wall panels cast from solid bronze hold an aristocratic aura, creating a lavish and warm ambience. Ample space is allowed for Cartier masterpieces to shine in the Jewellery Salon and the Watches Salon, the latter of which features high horology creations including the Drive de Cartier and Panthere de Cartier. The boutique also houses a High Jewellery Salon, a first for Southeast Asia, where VIPs can conduct commissions and collections in confidence and privacy.
A carpeted marble staircase with fine bronze detailing and ruby crystal balls leads downstairs, flanked by a timely reminders of Cartier’s heritage, towards a universe of glittering diamonds. With its own dedicated VIP salon, this floor exudes Parisian glamour as it offers bejewelled and pavéd pieces for sophisticates and brides, as well as Cartier’s sole Client Service Counter in Malaysia to keep those gems shining brightly
