Elegant Feng Shui art, goods and jewellery brand – Lotus On Water – recently held an art exhibition entitled, “The Crown of Prosperity and Elegance”. Held at the historical CHIJMES Hall in Singapore, this two day event was graced by the presence of Her Royal Highness Princess Norodom Buppha Devi, His Royal Highness Prince Sisowath Tesso and four other members of the Cambodian royal family. Featuring Feng Shui artworks by Lotus On Water founder, Emeritus Master Yun Long Zi, the event featured a total of 46 art pieces including two 3m x 2m artworks valued at SG$6.8 million (RM20.5 million) each.
Inspiring prosperity and success, these curated works of Emeritus Master Yun, feature materials such as 24K gold, pure silver, bronze and natural vermillion ink. Each piece has as many as eight to twelve layers and with the use of phosphorescent paint, allowing both bright and dark settings to affect the paintings in different ways.
Apart from launching a new series of artworks on traditional Chinese fans, another highlight of the event was the bestowment of the Apsara Crown on Emeritus Master Yun by Her Royal Highness Princess Buppha Devi during the opening ceremony. A sixth generation Feng Shui master in his family’s tradition, Emeritus Master Yun’s many pieces are painted on a unique canvas called Dong Ba paper. Handmade by the tribal Naxi people from the Yunnan province, this paper has roots that date back to to the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368) and is well known for the its ability to withstand decay for up to 1000 years. “The Crown of Prosperity and Elegance: The Feng Shui Art of Emeritus Master Yun Long Zi was held from 29-30 October.
