You’ll Look So Radiant When You Wear Piaget’s Wings Of Light Collection Out Tonight

Of the 80-plus constituents of Piaget’s new Wings of Light high jewellery collection, one particular piece stands out. The bulk of the collection is in riotous colour, in a way that gives up none of the maison’s customary elegance; tropical jungle and birds-of-paradise inspirations are expressed through an artistic flurry of floral, feather and foliage motifs expressed through prismatic gems and a streamlined, modern silhouette.

The unique Secret Cenote cuff watch, however, stands apart with a more tranquil demeanour. It is named for cenotes, which are hidden-away bodies of water found in naturally occurring sinkholes. They can be stunningly beautiful landscapes and are most famously found in Central America – which would explain this piece’s Mesoamerican vibe.

Set on an 18k white gold bracelet, it is an asymmetrical array of 151 baguette-cut sapphires, 25.67 carats in total, backed up by 171 diamonds both brilliant- and baguette-cut and totalling 15.69 carats. They are arranged with an intermittent, organic rhythm that takes after shimmering waters. At its heart is the black opal dial of the watch, which is powered by an in-house quartz movement.
