Glenfiddich Asks ‘Where Next?’ With a Series of Enlightening TEDx Talks

Glenfiddich is expanding its striking ‘Where Next?’ global campaign to Southeast Asia through a series of exciting TEDx events, titled ImagineNext, across the region.

The series presents an inspiring set of game-changing local speakers across Southeast Asia who embrace the Maverick spirit – the multi-award-winning brand’s ethos of embracing challenge and creating persistent growth.

“Our Where Next campaign celebrates the idea that growth can only come by continually embracing the unknown.” explains Brett Bayly, the Regional Brand Ambassador for Glenfiddich in Southeast Asia. “Through reaching out directly to our community, partnering with TEDx-communities and collaborating with diverse Mavericks, we want to invite them to join us on a grand adventure of self-discovery across all important stages of their lives.”

Singapore: Imagine Impact

Headlined by founder and CEO of Ravel Innovation, Grace Sai, and co-founder and design principal of STUCK Design, Donn Koh, the TEDxSingapore leg aims to break down the meaning of impact and how that translates to the community. The talks will focus on the future of social entrepreneurship. Through Sai’s reputable corporate innovation agency has helped transform more than 100 corporates, and Donn’s creative inventions making an impactful design for the future, viewers will leave refreshed and inspired.

Kuala Lumpur: Imagine Action

Taking on a new path can be a daunting prospect – TEDxKualaLumpur looks towards dispelling that initial fear. Cheryl Goh, the Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Grab, lends her insight into how marketers enhance their impact on brand decision-making and strengthen brand equity and consumer trust during an economic downturn. Nine-time squash world champion, and this year’s World Games’ Greatest Athlete of All Time, Nicol David, will also talk about her experiences and how she remained tenacious in the face of adversity.

Bangkok: Imagine Nation

TEDxThailand dives into diversity and how it’s an essential key in building a better future. Nattanon Dungsunenarn is a leading creative content publisher about space and the co-founder and editor-in-chief of SPACETH.CO. His presentation will showcase the multifaceted perspectives of the great unknown and discuss what more space can bring to us.

Jakarta: Imagine Nasi

The title of this TED talk not only puts a playful spin on the Malay word for imagination – imajinasi – but nasi holds a much deeper meaning with the event that aims to highlight the global food crisis. Lisa Virgiano, an entrepreneur and brand director of KAUM, from the Potato Head Family, will speak about the importance of culinary heritage and the legacy of Indonesian cuisine. Followed by internationally renowned food and nutrition technology expert, Dr Florentinus Gregorius Winarno, who will share his thoughts on how Indonesia can cope with its looming food crisis and what other nations can gain from it.

Glenfiddich will also be hosting weekly interactive Clubhouse and Instagram Live sessions with the speakers to further explore what it means to be a Maverick and how one can tap into that spirit. While the information on the TEDxDiliman event has yet to be released, the rest of the TEDx talks can be found here
