Across a series of two nights, Robb Report Malaysia’s guests walked through the doors of the Audemars Piguet Kuala Lumpur flagship boutique at The Starhill. Inside of this new flagship boutique, completely remodelled alongside the interiors of The Starhill, guests luxuriated in the capacious 2,842 sq ft space, and marvelled at the cinematic floor-to-ceiling landscapes of the Swiss Jura, a recall of Audemars Piguet’s provenance of Le Brassus.
Here at Audemars Piguet Kuala Lumpur, a combination of wood, stone and polished brass in the ambience transported guests to the elemental state of the watchmaker’s own manufacture. Meanwhile, the scenic Swiss vistas in the private lounge and client bar provided a tranquil backdrop to the real business of watchmaking appreciation. Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed an up-close-and-personal viewing of the watchmaker’s latest novelties, from the new 43mm-sized Royal Oak Offshores to the Royal Oaks in 43mm and 42mm. Of course, the brand’s newer Code 11:59 collection also drew many a discerning eye, with the timepiece aficionados able to make close observations of its many subtle design elements of its case, as well as the mind-bending curvature of its sapphire crystal.
