Fornasetti Profumi Home Candles Blur The Line Between Fragrance And Art

The Milan-founded luxury artistic design company have unveiled a line of home fragrances to complement its iconic High Design decorations. The new Fornasetti Profumi range consists of three collections including the Peccato Originale (Original Sin) collection depicting the late 19th-century opera singer Lina Cavalieri, Fornasetti’s muse, as well as the snake to represent the motif of original Sin. The Frutto Proibito (Forbidden Fruit) fragrance completes the seduction. Next, the Architettura collection is a triptych of three distinct porcelain candles that takes the patron on a walk through an imaginary cityscape together with the fragrance Immaginazione of woody cedar and sandalwood notes. Lastly, through the Farfalle e Balaustra (Butterflies and Balustrade) collection, leaves and butterflies create an Edenic scene paired with the Giardino Segreto fragrance of ingredients that embody the scent of black currant and wild blackberry in the undergrowth.

Prices range from RM390 to RM10,500. Available in KENS Apothecary at the Pavilion KL and The Gardens.

There is perhaps no venue that sets the bar higher (pun intended) than Bar Trigona, with its locally inspired libations paired with an opulent modern space. As a testament to this, it has once again taken home the title of Best Bar in Malaysia and ranked no. 38 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2023, which was unveiled in Hong Kong in July. The bar has put Kuala Lumpur on the global cocktail map by utilising vibrant local produce to create a selection of signature cocktails, inspired by everything from Bambangan wild mango to Teh Tarik and Penang Laksa. Another Malaysian tippling spot on the list is newcomer Penrose KL at no. 50.
