Benetti Unveils The B.Yond Line: The Future Of Eco-Friendly Luxury Yachting

Renowned Italian shipyard Benetti, celebrated for its luxury yachts, is committed to a greener future with the launch of its new B.Yond line. Dubbed “the greenest family of yachts in its category”, this new line incorporates advanced electrification systems designed to reduce consumption by 20 per cent.

The new B.Yond models evoke a sense of exploration while retaining the classic elegance of Benetti yachts. The striking contrast between the white hull and grey superstructure exudes both strength and grace. Designed for leisurely voyages, the B.Yond family utilises cutting-edge technology and a hybrid-electric system to minimise its environmental impact.

At the Monaco Yacht Show 2024, Benetti showcased how these vessels are crafted for extended voyages. The new yachts feature the creative talents of two renowned designers: Igor Labonov, acclaimed for his innovative and sculptural yacht designs, who worked on the exterior, while Bonetti/Kozerski Architecture, known for their elegant minimalist interiors, designed the interior spaces.

Headlining the new series is the B.Yond 57M, designed to offer a range of experiences for long cruises. This model has three stern configurations: the Beach version, which features a generous outdoor area and pool; the Air version, which includes a helipad for easy arrival and departure, as well as the option to transform this space into a veranda; and the Water version, which allows the yacht to store marine exploration equipment.

The 57m yacht boasts extensive glazing that floods the interior with sunlight, enabling the use of wood with a carbon black finish, which contrasts beautifully with the luminous views of the water.

Joining the B.Yond 57M is the B.Yond 40M, a yacht designed with four distinct decks, each tailored for a specific purpose and offering various configuration options. One of its standout features is a spacious social area spanning approximately 150 sq m, surrounded by floor-to-ceiling glass windows that bathe the interior in natural light. The 40m yacht’s main saloon is uniquely proportioned, allowing for the use of a lighter colour palette. This includes bleached white oak with a brushed finish, which adds depth, character, and durability.

In addition to the B.Yond family, Benetti also introduced the Motopanfilo 45M. This yacht has a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure. It is a modern reinterpretation of the Navetta concept, with exterior styling by RWD, while Lazzarini & Pickering Architetti was responsible for the concept behind the interiors and exterior decks.

The Motopanfilo 45M showcases the Veranda Deck concept, which reimagines the main deck saloon by opening it on three sides to create a veranda overlooking the yacht’s infinity pool, offering sweeping vistas that extend to the horizon. The interiors and exteriors are enhanced by natural materials such as wicker, rattan and bamboo, which appeal to the senses, especially sight and touch.
