Omega Reveals The New Speedmaster Pilot Timepiece That Takes Aviation-Aesthetics To New Heights

Omega’s new Speedmaster Pilot timepiece (40.85mm in size) draws inspiration from the first 1957 Speedmaster, which combines Omega’s 60 years of aviation heritage with advanced watchmaking. The timepiece features a stainless-steel body with a matte-black dial, along with green illuminating phosphor watch hands and markers for night visibility. What’s unique about the Speedmaster Pilot is the twin sub-dials—both opaline coloured at the centre and bevelled shaped on the outside—designed to look like aircraft cockpit flight instruments. It is powered by the Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 9900, which offers the best standards of accuracy and magnetic resistance. The timepiece is available in a stainless-steel bracelet and comes with an additional grey NATO strap.
