On a Saturday morning in conjunction with Hari Merdeka, a fleet of Lamborghinis, piloted by members of the Lamborghini Community Malaysia (LCM), made a bull run from the Klang Valley to Penang island.
Lamborghinis Assembled
The convoy of 18 highly engineered automotive stars by Sant’Agata Bolognese ranged from a family of Huracáns—including the Sterrato, Technica, Performante, and the Super Trofeo Omologat (STO)—to the sharp and sleek profile of the Urus and Urus Performante. Bringing the 12-cylinder growl-to-banshee wail were the Aventador LP700, Aventador SuperVeloce (SV), and SuperVeloce Jota (SVJ).
Maple Palace

A first pit stop at Maple Palace—the island’s culinary gem for Chinese-meets-Peranakan cuisine—saw LCM members enjoy nourishing double-boiled cabbage and red dates soups, Nyonya-styled steamed grouper, and indulgent stir-fried tiger prawns with scallions.
Passion With A Cause

The convoy then made its way a few doors down to one of Penang’s newest and most opulent hotels, The Millen Penang, Autograph Collection.
Cheque Presentation Ceremony
Members gathered for a high tea reception and cheque presentation ceremony, where RM50,000 was donated to the Majlis Perundingan Muhibbah Pulau Pinang, which comprises 16 ethnic organisations that aim to foster goodwill and unity among the various communities in the state.
“What began as a gathering of supercar enthusiasts has grown into an inspiring community, one that not only shares the thrill of driving Lamborghinis but also embraces social responsibility as part of its mission. Today is not only a showcase of automotive passion and Italian excellence, but also a reflection of the noble spirit of giving back to society,” said YB Wong Hon Wai, Penang State Executive Councillor for Tourism and Creative Economy, during his speech.
Dinner And A Post-Prandial Segue
Haku, Extraordinary Japanese Cuisine
At Haku, which styles itself as offering ‘Extraordinary Japanese Cuisine’ and a magnet for supercar owners passing through Penang, LCM members roared up and settled in for a 10-course omakase dinner. From a caviar starter to a tuna tartare, then to an amaebi egg mousse and sawara sashimi, each course offered an indulgent bite into freshness and innovative culinary style.
Following dinner, the party continued at one of the island’s hottest night spots, the live music venue SO-OD Bar. Here, LCM members enjoyed contemporary and classic hits by the live band, and savoured the camaraderie and memories of a quick yet meaningful drive up north.
