Aman Unveils Its Inaugural 47-Suite Ultra Luxury Motor Yacht: Amangati

The ship and hotel will offer a rare passage through Venice’s Grand Canal and exclusive Mediterranean ports.

Aman is arguably one of the world’s most exclusive resort brands, having influenced countless other properties through its philosophy of quiet luxury, impeccable service, and extraordinary locations. This distinctive approach has cultivated a deeply loyal following among high-net-worth individuals, with notable guests including Justin Bieber at Amangiri and the Clooneys at Aman Venice.

Amangati at Sea

In spring next year, Aman at Sea will take to the seas with its first ocean-going motor yacht, Amangati. Picture experiencing all Aman has to offer without being restricted to a single location: the vessel will unlock the doors to multiple breathtaking Mediterranean spots, including limited-access ports such as the charming hideaway of Beaulieu-sur-Mer, or ‘Beautiful Place on Sea’.

Serene Sanctuaries

Naturally, exclusivity is a hallmark of Amangati, which will accommodate only 94 guests across 47 expansive suites ranging from 68 to 354 square metres, all with their own terrace. For those seeking the ultimate in privacy, all 180 metres of the yacht outfitted with cutting-edge technology will also be available for private charter. Amangati means ‘peaceful motion’ in Sanskrit, and this translates into its design featuring clean lines and minimalist décor inspired by traditional Japanese ryokan architecture. The vessel, which is currently under construction, will offer seamless arrivals and departures via the yacht’s two helipads and six tenders.

A carefully curated collection of five- to eight-night voyages will allow travellers to visit storied destinations from the Roman heritage of the Dalmatian Coast to the Moorish splendour of Mediterranean Spain, as well as the French Riviera. Amid moments spent soaking in the azure sea, make a glamorous stop at the Cannes Film Festival or revel in the high-octane excitement of the Monaco Grand Prix. Amangati also offers an exclusive passage through Venice’s Grand Canal, where one can sail past centuries-old palaces and the vibrant San Marco Square.

Spa & Wellness, Room

In true Aman style, the spa is nothing short of extraordinary. Two decks spanning 1,190 square metres offer eight ocean-facing treatment suites with private terraces, showers and open-air whirlpool baths, a hammam, and a banya with dedicated serenity zones.

Bespoke Amenities & Dining

At Amangati, the facilities are on par with many luxury hotels around the world on land. There are four international dining establishments, a jazz club, and even an expansive beach club at the stern, which allows guests to head straight into the water. Meanwhile, those who place an emphasis on wellness as part of their routine can visit the state-of-the-art Fitness Studio, Medi Spa, Medical Centre, and Beauty Lounge.

Reservations for Amangati are now open and available online, via phone at +1 (754) 345-2339, or via email at [email protected].
