Kwee Zeen restaurant at Sofitel Damansara has prepared a smorgasbord of the ocean’s best produce – New Zealand half-shell mussels, blue swimmer crabs, freshly-shucked oysters and a fine selection of salmon and sea bream sashimi. Curated by Executive Chef Kim Gates who’s just joined the team from Sofitel Abu Dhabi, guests can also expect live cooking stations featuring seafood risotto, grilled Norwegian salmon, tiger prawns, steamed red snapper and dory in ginger oyster sauce.
Apart from an array of hot and cold dishes in a variety of Italian, Japanese and Chinese styles, look out for Kwee Zeen’s gluten-free corner serving premium rye breads, cheese boards, dried fruits, nuts and ice-cream. As with any Sofitel hotel, a gastronomic French twist is to be expected. Tuck into desserts like hazelnut dacquoise torte, vanilla creme brulee, black lemon éclair, blackberry pavlova and more.
