Straits Expression’s Peony tea caddy

This tea caddy acts as both a gorgeous decorative piece as well as an ideal storage unit to serve kuih or other Hari Raya treats. It takes inspiration from traditional Peranakan lidded jars, or kamcheng, which was primarily used at wedding ceremonies. Symbolising love and affection, the caddies’ exterior features an ensemble of lush peony buds and blossoms surrounded by lotus petals, with a baoxiang flower adorning the lid.
