Catch up on this week’s most noteworthy updates from the universe of luxury.

By Robb Report Editorial | October 02, 2026

In our weekly TWIL series, we bring you the latest in luxury news from around the world. This week’s highlights: Bentley’s first all-electric offering is the Torcal SUV, the Girard-Perregaux kicks off a partnership with the Atlassian Williams F1 Team, and H Moser & Cie launches its third Alpine Motorsports timepiece.

The First-Ever All-Electric Bentley Has Arrived In The Torcal

Bentley’s first all-electric vehicle has arrived in the form of the Torcal, an SUV that is also the marque’s shortest four-door vehicle in the current line-up. Despite its relatively small size, it has a powerful road presence and distinctly Bentley proportions—short overhangs, wide stance, and a front grille that definitively lives up to the British automaker’s ‘upright elegance’ design principle. In the higher-tier Torcal S model, 876bhp hits the road via two electric motors, good enough for a 0-100km time in 2.9 seconds. The 1,350Nm of torque on tap is the highest ever for a Bentley. Other firsts for the brand include: a fully active suspension, which has individually adjusting dampers for maximum comfort and minimum body roll; powered folding rear seats; and 100 per cent Merino wool automotive fabric for the upholstery. Prized for its softness, warmth, and luxurious feel, wool has never been durable enough for a car interior until now, thanks to Bentley’s collaboration with Somerset-based cloth-makers Fox Brothers.

Girard-Perregaux and Atlassian Williams F1 Team Come Together For Two New Timepieces

Following the announcement of the partnership between the La Chaux-de-Fonds watchmaker and the British Formula One team, the two brands present the first fruits of their union—two new special editions of the watchmaker’s emblematic Laureato.

The first of the two models is a classic yet large take on the time-and-date watch. The steel case features the model’s classic octagonal bezel and integrated bracelet. Relatively thin, at 10.68mm, this sporty watch features the new blue colour on both the dial and the date disc. Inside is the calibre GP1800, a fairly large but slim automatic movement with a 54h power reserve.

The more motorsport-oriented model adds a chronograph complication, creating a direct link to Formula 1 timing. It shares the same 42mm steel case and blue Clous de Paris dial, but incorporates rhodium-plated rings around the three subdials and red accents inspired by the FW48’s keyline graphics.

Inside is the in-house GP3300 automatic chronograph calibre, made up of 419 components with a 46-hour power reserve. The movement drives the chronograph, hours, minutes, small seconds, and date functions.

This Collaborative Timepiece By H Moser & Cie And Alpine Motorsports Puts Ceramic In Material Focus

This is the third timepiece collaboration between Swiss watchmaker H Moser & Cie and Alpine Motorsports, and it focuses on materials—a defining aspect of their respective crafts. The Streamliner Tourbillon Skeleton Ceramic Alpine Limited Edition has an anthracite grey ceramic case—a material that is highly resistant to corrosion, practically un-scratchable, lightweight, and hypoallergenic. 40mm in diameter, the case sports alternating polished- and satin-finished surfaces. The skeletonised tourbillon calibre features a double hairspring, and blue-toned bridges that reflect the colours of the BMW Alpine Formula One Team. It is completed by a blue Alcantara strap and is limited to 100 pieces.

Glenfiddich And Aston Martin Formula One Team Create A 16-Year-Old Whisky

This co-branded whisky release is billed not just as a partnership between Glenfiddich and Aston Martin Formula One Team, but one also between their two most important leaders: Brian Kinsman, malt master for the Speyside distillery, and Adrian Newey, the motorsports team’s managing technical partner. The resulting 16-year-old expression is a tribute to invisible craft—airflow and patience, instinct and foresight, precision and discipline.

Bottled at 46 per cent ABV, the Glenfiddich & Aston Martin Formula One Team 16-Year-Old Limited Edition Release No.2 has a complex, five-cask makeup that includes first-fill bourbon barrels, port pipes, oloroso sherry casks, wine casks, and fino sherry butts, resulting in sweetness, richness, and structure. In Malaysia, Glenfiddich will introduce this expression through an interactive pop-up at Jaya Grocer in The Gardens Mall from 2 to 11 October.

Asymmetry Takes Shape In The Newest Bvlgari Tubogas Novelties

Bvlgari has unveiled five new creations for its iconic Tubogas collection, introducing a new asymmetric expression. Defined by bold, sculptural ends, a three-piece parure makes its debut, consisting of a necklace, bracelet and earrings in yellow gold and pavé diamonds. Taking over 17 hours to craft, the necklace features the asymmetric motif on the front and a sliding clasp on the back for easy adjustments. Extending the collection is a pair of softly rounded yellow gold half-hoop earrings and a three-gold necklace, where each strand of white, yellow and rose gold is meticulously hand-pulled into a single contemporary piece.

This Is Montblanc’s Final Writing Instrument Release That Honours The Dragons Of The East

The twelfth and final edition of Montblanc’s A Journey Among Dragons is topped by this, The Imperial Dragon Limited Edition 8. Inspired by the five-clawed dragon of ancient Chinese legend, it takes the form of a fountain pen principally constructed out of solid yellow gold. A hand-engraved dragon, backed by clouds, runs the length of the cap and barrel, with yellow and orange sapphires for eyes and scales. The yellow gold nib has its own decorative motif and yellow sapphire, while the cap top features a diamond-set rendition of the iconic Montblanc logo.

Louis Vuitton Presents Its Fall Men’s Capsule Collection Spring-Summer 2027

Pharrell Williams’ latest Louis Vuitton men’s capsule collection serves as a prelude to the House’s Spring-Summer 2027 offering, drawing inspiration from the idea of a refined countryside picnic in the English outdoors. The collection explores the intersection of rural adventure and contemporary dandyism, expressed through weather-ready outerwear, tailored workwear, and elevated travel essentials. The palette reflects the British countryside, with misty blues, forest greens, earthy camping tones, and warm neutrals. Signature Louis Vuitton motifs appear throughout in subtle and inventive ways, including aged Monograms, tablecloth-inspired jacquards, and Highland landscape artworks incorporating Monogram details.

Key ready-to-wear pieces include reversible wool-cashmere workwear jackets, leather hoodies, suede overshirts, Japanese denim shirting, carpenter pants, and luxurious knitwear and outerwear designed for layering and versatility. Accessories continue the countryside narrative through the Monogram Highlands line, featuring hand-drawn landscape motifs across leather goods, while the footwear reimagines outdoor and sporting archetypes with elevated materials and House detailing. Standout styles include the LV City Ranger boots and derbies, the rugged LV Remix Ranger Boot, the skate-inspired LV Tilted, and updated versions of the LV Trainer.
