Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Presents Its First Abalone Shell Marquetry
Through the Phantom Extended Private Commission, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars brings a vision to life with the Phantom Hummingbird, a loving tribute to a client’s wife. Curated by Private Office Dubai, the hummingbird motif can be found on the picnic tables, each crafted from 53 individual pieces of abalone shell and mother-of-pearl, their natural blue-green lustre mirroring the shimmer of the bird’s feathers. Accompanying the hummingbirds are botanical motifs, which comprise 84 individual mother-of-pearl and abalone shell pieces, decorating the rear waterfall panel.
L’Epée 1839 Celebrates Football With A Sphere-Shaped Mechanical Clock
The assignment was simple: recreate the iconic 32-panel football through the medium of artistic mechanical horology. None other than L’Epée 1839, the historic luxury clockmaker, rose to the challenge with the aptly named Football (from RM171,200), a mechanical sculpture dedicated to the world’s most popular sport. Sized at 22cm across—just like a real ball—and weighing 4.2kg, the 882-component clock is encased within an exoskeleton-like structure of 20 hexagons and 12 pentagons. It has an industrial nature to its construction with exposed screws, and is hand-polished to catch the light. Two rotating satin-finished discs indicate hours and minutes. The eight-day movement within has an exposed escapement and geartrain for visual spectacle, and is manually wound with a key. The Football is available in four finish options: full gold-plated, full palladium-plated, two-tone with black numerals, and two-tone with gold numerals. Each execution is limited to 99 pieces.
Royal Selangor Celebrates Disney x Formula 1 with New Limited Edition Collectibles
In anticipation of Formula 1, Royal Selangor unveils its newest set of collectibles in its Autumn/Winter line: Fuel the Magic, combining the story magic of Disney with the exhilarating speed of F1. At the forefront of this collection sits the Limited Edition Gilt Disney x Formula 1 Car, finished in 24K gilt. The handcrafted pewter race car figurine is accented with hand-painted golden race lines, with only 500 individually numbered pieces available nationwide. Complementing the set is the pewter Disney x Formula 1 Car (a non-gilt version), Disney x Formula 1 Mickey Mouse Racer Figurine and the Disney x Formula 1 Car Keychain, featuring Mickey Mouse as the driver. Each piece is hand-hammered in Royal Selangor’s signature craftsmanship style, available at Royal Selangor stores, authorised dealers, and online.
The Rimowa x Faber-Castell Artist Case Is Made For On-The-Go Creativity
Two icons of German craftsmanship come together with the limited-edition Rimowa x Faber-Castell Artist Case (RM13,600). Rimowa, of course, is supplying the case, which is in anodised aluminium with its classic striped motif—distinctive, yet utilitarian—and a leather handle. Inside is a complete set of Faber-Castell’s renowned drawing instruments, including a co-branded set of 2B graphite pencils, as well as 120 of the richly pigmented Polychromos colour pencils, and their smooth-gliding oil-based cores. A two-level tray system keeps things organised and within easy reach while the case is opened. A Rimowa-branded, platinum-plated sharpener completes the set—along with an eraser, just in case. In Malaysia, this set is available exclusively at the Rimowa boutique in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.
Benetti Showcases Its Latest Updates At The Monaco Yacht Show 2026
The Italian shipbuilding company arrived at the recent show with two world premieres—the 67-metre hybrid M/Y Dagger, characterised by the iconic Oasis Deck, and the 50-metre full-custom M/Y Perseverance—along with a preview of its new lounge at the Yacht Club de Monaco. Designed by AMDL Circle and Michele De Lucchi, the lounge reflects the commitment of the company’s Green Route programme, which aims to reduce the company’s environmental impact of yachting. Inside, guests can take the time to unwind or explore a curated exhibition tracing two decades of research, from the first diesel-electric propulsion system installed on a yacht in 2006, to M/Y Kasper 7, the first Benetti yacht to receive the 3-star SEA Index certification.
Montblanc Honours The Original Rieussec Chronograph With This Limited-Edition Star Legacy
The Montblanc Star Legacy Nicolas Rieussec Chronograph continues to be one of the most distinctive offerings on the market, with a layout that pays tribute to the first-ever chronograph—the passing seconds and minutes are indicated via two subdials that feature rotating domed discs and a stationary pointer.
This particular 100-piece limited edition features a rose gold case 43mm in diameter, and a black dial with a somewhat hidden motif. It is Inscribed with luminescent material are sections of the handwritten document which enabled Rieussec to present his original chronograph invention to the Academy of Sciences in Paris, along with a sketch of the Academy itself, and parts of the submitted blueprints. The rehaut also reads ‘Compteur de Mr Rieussec,’ as the invention was then known, along with the date and place of the patent filing: ‘Paris, le 15 Octobre 1821.’
Aston Martin Unveils Its First-Ever Road-Legal Motorcycle With Brough Superior
After its track-only AMB 001, the British carmaker debuts the AMB 002 Roadster, a futuristic superbike that looks like it was taken straight out of a Batman comic. Design details borrow visibly from Aston’s car lineup, with surfacing cues that echo the Vanquish, Valkyrie, and Valhalla.
Limited to 300 units, each motorcycle is hand-built and uses an entirely new water-cooled V-twin engine that outputs 130 hp and 110Nm of torque. Aston Martin says that the bike is tuned for strong low and mid-range torque with a smooth and thrilling top-end,giving the AMB 002 a responsive, engaging character with accessible, exhilarating performance.
Initial orders are now being taken, with deliveries commencing in Q3 2027.
Soneva Stars Brings Tim Peake, Andy Cole and Tennis Greats to its Maldives Resorts
Soneva has unveiled the latest edition of its Soneva Stars calendar, where field experts and stars come together at its Maldives resorts, offering invaluable talks and bespoke workshops from now until the end of 2026. Across Soneva Fushi, Soneva Jani and Soneva Secret, luminaries such as British astronaut Tim Peake (19 to 29 December), former Manchester United striker Andy Cole (25 October to 5 November) and skincare expert Sarah Chapman (27 October to 5 November) will bring guests on a journey spanning space, sport, gastronomy, craftsmanship and wellbeing. Cartier introduces the Clash De Cartier Bag, its newest selection of calfskin tote bags. The bag comes in three sizes—small (RM16,100), medium (RM17,400) and large (RM18,600) and features a sharp, minimalist design defined by its jewellery-like studs on both handles. Leaving it open reveals a looser, casual fit, while fastening it provides a more structured look. Each bag is crafted with the maison’s leather expertise, made from the finest materials, and available in black, caramel and Cartier’s iconic burgundy. Hermès Expands Its Hermessence Collection With A Ginseng Eau De Parfum
Created by Christine Nagel, Creative Director of Hermès Perfumes, Ginseng Biloba joins a family of Hermessence scents inspired by precious roots, following creations such as Vétiver Tonka, Iris Ukiyoé and Musc Pallida. Ginseng Biloba centres on the woody, earthy character of ginseng, enhanced through a natural extract. Nagel describes the ingredient as both mysterious and stimulating, highlighting its gentle bitterness and deep, woody facets.
The fragrance is paired with ginkgo biloba, inspired by the scent of its crumpled leaves and the tree’s distinctive fan-shaped golden foliage. The result is a radiant woody composition that brings together the notes of ginseng roots and ginkgo leaves, reflecting the graceful forms of both plants.
Presented in a refillable 100ml bottle, Ginseng Biloba features a bright yellow hue inspired by golden ginkgo leaves, while its Swift calfskin cap with beige saddle stitching references the colour of ginseng roots.
