Your six day, five night journey will centre around Connie’s Cottage, the ultimate residence at The Siam. Originally built in the ancient capital Ayutthaya, the century-old house was carefully brought downriver to Bangkok by curio collector Connie Mangskau, a close friend of silk merchant Jim Thompson. At its new home, Connie’s Cottage has been refurbished with the finest in modern comforts while maintaining its distinctive charm to be the ultimate couple’s experience.

The Siam is one of the only hotels with a permanent pier accessing the mighty Chao Phraya, and it is from here that your discovery of the real Bangkok will begin. On a chosen evening, once you’ve enjoyed a glorious sunset, The Siam’s private boat will whisk you downriver to waiting tuk tuks that will take you on a night ride into the hidden corners of Bangkok. From rooftop cocktails, speakeasy style dens, craft beer bars and jungle style gardens, the choices are endless and team at The Siam will be on hand to help you map out the night’s itinerary based on your preferences and whims.

Back at The Siam, guests will be able to de-stress with daily Muay Thai lessons conducted at the hotel’s private boxing ring with Olympic Muay Thai trainer Kru Yim, with a Muay Thai massage to follow to ease the muscles. The Siam’s Chef Damri will also be on hand to introduce guests to the depths of Thai cuisine, beginning with a visit to the local food market before returning back to get hands on with the ingredients. Dishes made will be enjoyed as dinner in the evening, capping off an experience that dives deep into the soul of Bangkok.
