Amazing Road Trip
On an easy Saturday morning, the roar of V12s filled the air as a fleet of Ferraris emerged from The Palace of the Golden Horses. A quick pit stop at Shell – the official partner to the Scuderia Ferrari Grand Prix team – beckoned, with Costa Coffee providing the perfect pick-me-up for the run into Malacca City. Once there, the Ferrari Owners’ Club of Malaysia pulled into the beautiful The Majestic Malacca where they partook in a lunch of Kristang cuisine, a hotel speciality.
Having freshened up, the Ferrari owners got into formation and arrived as a convoy at Encore Melaka, a state-of-art building and performance theatre, where they also indulged in a variety of Peranakan tea-time snacks. This was followed by the immersive experience of Encore Melaka, a visual and aural feast which chronicles Melaka’s beginnings and rich heritage. A seafood dinner by the beach ensued, before the club members adjourned for drinks at the nearby Jonker Walk.
