Louis Vuitton Men’s Pre-Fall 2025 Collection Is A Dapper Transition From Sea To Shore
Pharrell Williams’ Men’s Pre-Fall 2025 Collection for Louis Vuitton is a vivid voyage through time and place, blending vintage cruise tailoring with the breezy spirit of Miami resort life. Presented in two acts—Transit and Arrival—the collection unravels like a well-travelled narrative, moving from cruise to coast. The former is steeped in nautical charm, showcasing dandy tailoring, moiré jacquards, and sailor-stripe knits with sailboat motifs, while the latter shifts into pastel-toned resort wear such as silk bowling sets, raffia jackets, and terry robes. Tactile fabrics are worked into every piece, adding dimension to everything from outerwear to accessories. Playful details—including dolphin-shaped bags, fold-out towel totes, jelly sandals, and fluffy monogram boots—infuse the line with a sense of levity.
Montblanc’s New Writing Instruments Are A Homage To Goethe, The Greatest German-Language Writer In History
Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe (1749-1832) is most famous for his literary works. In fact, he is touted as the most influential German-language writer in history, and was the playwright behind Faust. Montblanc’s latest Writers Edition collection of writing instruments pays homage to Goethe, and sheds light on his remarkable career—aside from his writing, he was also a scientist, philosopher, and statesman. The Goethe edition consists of four limited editions, each celebrating a different aspect of the polymath.
They are capped by the Limited Edition 8—The Scientist, which celebrates his more academic pursuits. A fountain pen fashioned from solid gold, its cap and barrel are inlaid with various stones, a reference to Goethe’s extensive mineral collection and interest in geology. The overall colour scheme is a nod to his book, Theory of Colours. The top of the cap, where Montblanc’s iconic emblem is inevitably displayed, is made from rock crystal and framed with gold. The fountain pen’s gold nib features a representation of Eugène Delacroix’s famous illustrations of Faust.
Van Cleef & Arpels’ Latest High Jewellery Collection Goes From Citrine To Aquamarine
A glisten of blossoms and coloured gemstones, Van Cleef & Arpels’ new Fleurs d’Hawaï collection brings together a set of earrings, rings, pendants, and watches, carved and polished into petal-like forms. Each piece is delicately proportioned across five varieties of fine stones and sculpted to evoke the soft contours of blooming florals. Citrine lends a sunny, orange-yellow glow; amethyst reveals a depth of regal purple; rhodolite adds a rich pink hue that accents the clarity of diamonds; aquamarine shines with crystalline luminosity; and peridot’s yellow-green tint recalls the freshness of spring. These stones are set in rose, yellow, or white gold, and have been carefully vetted by the maison’s Stone Department.
The corolla, shaped from pear-cut gems, features subtly raised petals that suggest movement and vitality. In-house artisans have employed the lost-wax casting method to develop an open gold framework that maximises light reflection through the stones. At the centre lies a raised pistil set with seven diamonds, bordered by rounded golden beads that mirror the spherical finish of the prong settings. A contoured gold leaf completes the piece, introducing asymmetrical balance and sculptural depth.
