In our weekly TWIL series, we bring you the latest in luxury news from around the world. This week’s highlights: Louis Vuitton collaborates with Singer Vehicle Design on a pair of customised Porsche 911s, The Gardens Mall hosts Malaysia’s latest Patek Philippe boutique, and The Conrad Kuala Lumpur starts taking bookings ahead of its opening later this year.

Louis Vuitton and Singer Put Craftsmanship in the Driver’s Seat

Louis Vuitton and Singer take the Porsche 911 into new territory, unveiling two bespoke cars that turn the art of travel into an automotive statement. The collaboration pairs Singer’s meticulous reimagining of classic 911s with Louis Vuitton’s leatherwork, watchmaking and trunk-making savoir-faire. One coupe arrives in the House’s signature saffron, cobalt blue, and yellow, complete with bespoke trunks, a roof rack, and a Tambour-inspired dashboard clock. Its open-top counterpart, conceived by Louis Vuitton’s Artistic Director of Women’s Collections Nicholas Ghesquiere, takes the form of an ivory white cabriolet accented with warm wood and gold. From hand-finished metal controls to luggage tailored precisely to each car, the project turns the Porsche 911 into something more than a vehicle: a moving expression of craftsmanship, travel, and style.

The Latest Patek Philippe Boutique To Arrive In Kuala Lumpur Is At The Gardens Mall

The latest Patek Philippe to arrive in Kuala Lumpur is at The Gardens Mall, courtesy of The Hour Glass. Occupying a prime, central ground floor location, its apartment-like architecture is part of the watchmaker’s latest global concept. Beyond the display cases of the welcome area are private lounges, a bar, a dining room, and even a dedicated exhibition area behind a hidden door that sheds light on the brand’s history and philosophy. Paying homage to Patek Philippe’s Rare Handcrafts are art pieces, including a wall sculpture hand-carved out of wood that was inspired by the Malayan tiger, and a batik-patterned tableau artwork that directly references one of the manufacture’s famously decorated dome blocks.

Conrad Kuala Lumpur Arrives in the Heart of the City

Conrad Kuala Lumpur is now accepting reservations ahead of its late-2026 opening, marking Conrad’s first Malaysian address. Occupying a prime address in the Golden Triangle, the 481-room hotel brings a polished new perspective to the city, pairing contemporary interiors with local art, skyline views, and a distinctly local sense of discovery. Six dining and bar concepts will anchor the experience, including China Blue, the city’s highest Chinese restaurant, which serves refined cuisine, and Gami Teppan, which spotlights the artistry of Japanese teppanyaki. Beyond the rooms, Conrad Spa, a pool, fitness centre, and curated local experiences invite guests to linger. With the city’s landmarks and neighbourhoods close at hand, Conrad Kuala Lumpur places modern luxury firmly in the rhythm of KL.

Van Cleef & Arpels Travels Back in Time With Fascinating Egypt

Van Cleef & Arpels travels to sand-swept landscapes for its latest High Jewellery collection, Fascinating Egypt. The founding of the maison in 1906 coincided with a renewed interest in Egypt’s heritage, which in turn has influenced numerous captivating creations throughout the years. The maison now presents a new tribute to the civilisation of Egypt when pharaohs reigned, with 180 abstract and figurative creations. A particularly fascinating piece is the Pharaon Éternel clip, which draws on one of the Maison’s most distinctive traditions: translating the human figure into precious form, much like its iconic ballerinas. The pharaoh is reimagined as a miniature sculpture, magnificently dressed in gold and precious stones, a fitting tribute to the powerful rulers.

The craftsmanship of the maison’s artisans is evident through numerous details: rose gold and white gold presented in mirror polish around his shoulders and hammered in a gradation at the hem of his loincloth. Iconic symbols of the sovereign’s royal power, a heqa (crook) that he holds in his left hand, and a slightly movable nekhekh (flail) held in the right, have been recreated with extraordinary precision. Finally, snow settings bring volume and brilliance to the creation, exhibiting the mastery of the stone setter. The clip is inspired by the costumes designed by Eugène Lacoste in 1880 for the opera masterpiece Aida by Giuseppe Verdi from 1871.

The Langham, Custom House, Bangkok Is Officially Taking Reservations

The highly anticipated hotel is now taking reservations for stays from 20 December 2026. Designed by Thai architect Smith Obayawat and managed by Langham Hospitality Group, the urban retreat sits adjacent to the Bangkok Customs House in the capital’s Bang Rak District, one of Thailand’s historic landmarks originally established under King Rama V (Chulalongkorn) in 1888. The Langham, Custom House, Bangkok’s 60 guestrooms and 15 suites offer panoramic views of the Chao Phraya River, with facilities that include a Chuan Spa and a state-of-the-art gym equipped with Technogym’s luxury Sandstone collection. Moët & Chandon and Pharrell Williams Bottle the Riviera

Moët & Chandon returns with a new summer expression of the Maison’s iconic champagne in their latest summer collaboration with Pharrell Williams, inspired by the effortless allure of the French Riviera. Drawing on the languid pleasures of Saint-Tropez, the partnership is an ode to slowing down and letting the occasion unfold.

This year, Ice Impérial joins the redesigned Brut Impérial bottles, with its familiar white sleeve removed to let the bottle take centre stage. Best served over ice, the cuvée captures the freshness of Mediterranean summers with vibrant tropical fruit and a refreshing finish. It is a celebration stripped back to its essentials: good champagne, good company, and golden afternoons.

Chow Tai Fook’s New Song Collection Blends Traditional Chinese Drums With Contemporary Jewellery

Chow Tai Fook, a renowned Hong Kong-based jewellery house, unveils its Song collection inspired by traditional Chinese drums. The collection serves as a homage to China’s rich musical heritage, featuring a signature double-drum motif, composed of a small drum atop a larger one, and geometric lines that represent the Chinese character for song (颂). Each piece comes with a concealed clasp (reminiscent of a drumstick), allowing for easy transformations into versatile modes of wear. Famous for pioneering the 999.9 pure gold standard in Hong Kong and Macau, the jewellery house incorporates layered three-dimensional engravings and nano-layered polishing to create contemporary jewellery pieces that shine from every angle.
