Only 3 Of These Maserati Levante Trofeo In Malaysia, And They Look Amazing

Maserati’s V8-equipped SUV has arrived in style with the Levante Trofeo Launch Edition (RM838,800 before duties and taxes), a limited edition of just 100 units worldwide. Malaysia has received three of them, in shades of blue, yellow and red that are unique to this special edition. Other elements that set it apart include the 22-inch wheels with colour-matched brake callipers, and the interior trim that boasts of luxurious ‘Pieno Fiore’ leather upholstery, carbon fibre accents, and a ‘one of 100’ badge on the centre console.

The Launch Edition otherwise benefits from the high-performance mechanics of the Trofeo. Its Ferrari-assembled 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 is an updated version of the one seen previously in the Quattoporte GTS. It pushes the Levante to new heights with its maximum output of 590bhp—a figure that makes it one of the most powerful Maserati engines ever. It takes the good-sized SUV from 0-100km/h in just 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 304km/h. Aiding it is the eight-speed automatic transmission and intelligent, rear-wheel biased AWD system; the latter includes a new Corsa driving mode that is exceptionally sporty and includes launch control.
