Pharrell Williams Debuts His Inaugural Collection With Tiffany & Co. Inspired By Poseidon

The Tiffany Titan by Pharrell Williams collection has been a long time coming. The fashion icon and multi-hyphenate first announced a Tiffany & Co. collaboration in early 2022 by wearing show-stopping diamond-encrusted sunglasses from the brand to a fashion show. He’s also no stranger to fine jewellery, first unveiling a line with Louis Vuitton in 2008 based on a coat of arms. The Men’s Creative Director for Louis Vuitton now adds another feather to his cowboy hat with his inaugural collection for Tiffany, which balances his creative vision and Tiffany’s inventive craftsmanship.

Pharell Williams continues to journey from music icon to fashion mogul.

Made to be worn by both men and women (Blackpink’s Rosé wore pieces to the collection’s launch party), the collection was created with fearless individuals who defy conventions in mind. Known for his bold personal style, Williams imbues the 19-piece collection with a sense of punk spirit by incorporating the trident’s spear-like spikes into the necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings.

The collection sets itself further apart from traditional jewellery with the use of titanium, brought to life with the house’s flawless craftsmanship. Offered in 18k yellow gold or titanium with all metal and diamond iterations, the pavé pieces steer clear from traditional diamond settings by featuring reverse-set diamonds that expose the diamond’s pavilion.

“I’m very inspired by the water, and the name of this collection ‘Titan’ draws inspiration from Poseidon, ruler of the sea, King of Atlantis,” Williams said in a statement. “Atlantis is also the name of the community I grew up in Virginia Beach. The detail in all of the jewellery pieces is very intentional, the use of black titanium—it’s a physical manifestation of beauty in blackness.”

The Tiffany Titan by Pharell Williams collection is a nod to Poseidon’s fabled trident.

The luxury jewellery retailer has released iconic bracelets over the years, such as the Tiffany T bracelet and Tiffany lock, and now the Link Bracelet in gold with diamonds (US$26,000) is set to be another and will surely be seen dangling from the wrists of countless celebrities. The bracelet features an angular spear-shaped motif and softly contoured links crafted in 18k yellow gold, with fishtail diamonds that gleam from every angle. The clasp is hidden among the links for a continuous, uninterrupted flow like the waves of the ocean.

The pièce de resistance of the collection is, undoubtedly, the awe-inspiring Five-row Ring (US$16,500) that looks like it belongs on the finger of the pope himself or Floyd Mayweather. Appearing like a singular piece at first glance, the 18k gold ring features a unique design that allows the individual bands and its gleaming pave diamonds to effortlessly move with the hand.

By collaborating with yet another visionary artist, Tiffany & Co. continues to propel its rich heritage to new heights of sophistication and contemporaneity. The collection will be available globally at Tiffany & Co. stores and Tiffany.com in June.
