Samrab Thai Dining at The Library Koh Samui

A special dinner set, “Samrab Thai”, was recently launched at The Library, Koh Samui, a property in the Design Hotel portfolio. A curated collection of 11 classic dishes in degustation format and presented as an eight course ensemble, the dishes are rare old-kingdom cuisine which are now rarely extrapolated in contemporary Thai cuisine. The whole set also combines eight unique flavour and texture profiles of traditional Thai cooking from sweet, sour, salty, spicy and bitter to neutral, nutty and waxy. The dishes are individually distinct yet complementary, all of which diners can enjoy during a single dinner feast.
