Etiquette for Today training workshop with YAM Tunku Dara

The Circle together with YAM Tunku Dara Tunku Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Naquiah binti Almarhum Tuanku Ja’afar is proud to present Etiquette for Today; an etiquette training workshop that will be held August 26 & 27, 2017 at the Sime Darby Convention Centre.

Decorum, elegance, societal savoir-faire and a cosmopolitan view of the world uniquely distinguish oneself in all that they do. A return to traditional values has placed the word “etiquette” back in our vocabulary. For some, the idea of social niceties and proper protocol may seem prim and old-fashioned for the fast-paced world where we live and do business, but forward-thinkers and the globally sophisticated know that good manners always stand out. The sophisticated professional must also know how to distinguish himself or herself from the competition, develop and maintain business, project a positive and respectful image, project confidence and authority, and build teamwork in a multicultural environment.

Tunku Dara is no stranger the country’s royal and social scene and has been a champion of personal etiquette in Malaysia for many years. Tunku Dara today conducts personal development courses on social etiquette, formal dining, Malaysian protocol and personal grooming whilst holding positions in various organizations including Dance Society of Malaysia (Patron), English Speaking Union Malaysia (Chairman) and Tuanku Najihah Foundation (Chairman of the Board of Trustees).

Tunku Dara will be sharing throughout the two days key information and experience regarding social presentation which will be a crucial learning platform for anyone looking at boosting their corporate image and to help them climb both the social and business ladders. The syllabus covered will include :
– The general/everyday manners that people expect them to know
– The skills to interact with others successfully
– The confidence to handle any situation, from the day-to-day to the crucial moments
– How to use every interaction as an opportunity to enhance relationships
– Proper table etiquette for formal meals
– Dressing for professional and personal success (with workshop partners Melinda Looi and Atelier Fitton)
