Breitling Refines The Chronomat, Its Versatile Sports Watch, Keeping It Up-To-Date For The Modern Wearer

A distinctive-looking watch since the 1980s, the Breitling Chronomat receives a generational refresh for the first time since its last major redesign in 2020. The most significant change is that its signature Rouleaux bracelet is now fully, rather than partially, integrated into the case—and yet, thanks to the cleverly concealed lugs, the bracelet fits with standard spring bars, so alternative straps are an easy option. The new Chronomat is available in three models, in a variety of dial colours and material choices: a 42mm chronograph (from RM40,300); a 40mm time-and-date (from RM29,100), which makes it a first for such a watch in that size; and a 36mm time-and-date (from RM25,800).

Dior Unveils Its Diorissima Haute Joaillerie Collection

The maison presents a collection revolving around three extraordinary and dreamlike worlds: lush greenery, aquatic depths, and mysterious constellations. Its name, Diorissima, is an ode to the House of Dior and to Venice, La Serenissima, where the collection made its debut. Abstraction and naturalism meet through a collection of 141 creations comprising necklaces, rings, earrings, bracelets, earcuffs and brooches, with 112 pieces presented in Chapter One. The art of collage practised by Victoire de Castellane, the artistic director of Dior Joaillerie, is recreated using sparkling gemstones through a whimsical interplay of shapes, cut-outs, juxtapositions and colours. The Ateliers’ unparalleled savoir-faire is demonstrated using the ‘doublet’ technique in the pieces, which involve layering one thin stone over another—such as opal over chrysoprase—to bring out subtly hued gradations.

Tudor Introduces A 39mm Black Bay Chrono That Sports A Vibrant Yellow Dial

There are two things going on here. Firstly, for the watch fans, Tudor has downsized the Black Bay Chrono to 39mm, opening it up to more wrists. At 13.1mm in thickness, it is over 1mm thinner, too. Secondly, and this will be obvious to everyone, it debuts with a vibrant yellow dial, contrasting quite pointedly with the black subdials. No surprise, then, that it’s nicknamed “Bumblebee”. Performance-wise, it’s the same—manufacture calibre MTS813 is COSC-certified and has a 70-hour power reserve. The Black Bay Chrono 39 is priced at RM26,330.
Wei-Ling Gallery Presents “Sandwich”—A Group Exhibition Featuring 12 Artists

From now to 18 July, the gallery presents an abstract art exhibition featuring works from 12 local artists, all centred around abstraction in Malaysia, and how it continues to shift with economic conditions, sociopolitical realities, and artistic pedagogies. Featuring works by 12 artists, the late Cheong Laitong, Hamidi Hadi, Iwadh Mahadi, James Ly, Khabir Roslan, Kim Ng, Latiff Mohidin, Mark Tan, Nasrul Rokes, Yau Bee Ling, Yeoh Choo Kuan, and Zulkifli Lee, this exhibition offers a framing of the field through a selection of artists whose practices reflect the breadth, tensions, and possibilities of abstraction across time.
Diptyque Introduces Its Summer 2026 Fragrance Collection, Le Jardin des Eaux

Summer has officially arrived, and Diptyque’s latest collection, Le Jardin des Eaux, is ushering scent enthusiasts through the transition of seasons. With visuals curated by mosaic artist Mathilde Jonquiere, the concept for the summer collection is rooted in natural elements, featuring reflections and fragments which serve as an ode to light and water. At the heart of the collection is the limited edition Eau des Sense Eau de Toilette, which, accompanied by a Hair Mist, takes centre-stage in Diptyque’s microcosmic botanic garden. The French fragrance brand also extends the experience of this collection into the home, with signature pieces like the Incense Spirals diffuser and the wax Medicis Vases, all inspired by the lush landscapes of summertime.
Balenciaga Reveals its Spring 27 Collection, Unsized – A Lightness of Being

Spring 2027 marks a fresh dialogue with Balenciaga’s heritage. In his latest collection, Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli draws on the original identity of the Maison while proposing a redefined interpretation of elegance. The notion of individual freedom is the focal point of this series, with particular attention to the flexibility and lightness of materials through kinetic silhouettes. Eliminating weight from the clothing was key in designing this collection, leaving only the form and structure of traditional tailoring. The monochromatic palette of this line is punctuated by bursts of colour, which reinforces the convergence between the brand’s customary minimalist motif and Piccioli’s reinvention of the classics, perfect for the spring season.
